Still finding ways to use up the last of the madras from National Picnic’s early styles—doin’ my best to use up fabric that shouldn’t be wasted.
This sleeve is a jeweltone spectrum-spanning authentic stitched patchwork madras cotton. Contrasting gray trim on neck and sleeve. The body is a heathered teal, 100% cotton, somewhat different than the usual jersey knits used for signature tees. Medium weight. It’s a superfine rib, 2 way stretch, it might drape a little differently if you’re used to these tees, but know it’s been cut with the same pattern.
You could say this tee has a "boyfriend fit", but don't think it's unisex, it's been designed for a woman's curves.
It's designed to drape loosely over the torso when worn true to size. It's not meant to fit snugly, but the rule of thumb is order down if you want some curves around the bust. If tight is how you roll, this is not the tee for you.
Fabrics used in my signature tees are often small batches of garment industry surplus, they can vary slightly in drape and feel, which can make a version appear to fit slightly larger or smaller—but know that each signature tee is cut from the same pattern. Differences are noted in each listing.
