Fans of swiss dot will find this fabric exceptional. This swiss dot is—drumroll please—a LINEN/COTTON blend. A fabulous find for us, we're still finding more ways to work this fabric into the collection.
Unbleached white and blue threads have a heathery, variegated appearance, with tufts of tactile, white dots. Expect it to have relaxed, casual characteristics like linen. Subtle slubs and natural variations are characteristic of the textile. A cotton-linen blend, the fabric is lightweight but not sheer.
Around here we like to take it out of the washing machine (delicate cycle, cold water), smooth it by hand and hang it on a hanger to dry for a casual, textured surface. But of course you can iron it on cotton setting if you want the results of that extra step.
Keeping some of the best parts of a classic shirt—a back yoke, gathered detail at center back, the rounded shirttail hem—and styling it into an easy popover blouse. A semi-tailored look. Rounded neckline complements necklaces and scarves and 3/4 sleeves show off all of your favorite bracelets.
It's good at covering belly and/or tucking in, and hides most of the rear, but we don't think it's a tunic in the sense that it doesn't cover a lot of thigh.
