A Sew-Down sale item. (Read about the Sew-Down here)
Sewing the last of this fabric during July, but have not yet cut into the last of the fabric. Until then, any size can be sewn to order.
National Picnic had a "madras" era when many styles were made from these patched-together lightweight cotton plaids. If you missed it the first time around, lingering yardage is still in the workshop, and can be ordered now in limited quantity.
The pink madras tees are paired with a lightweight cotton knit body. Not tissue weight, but lighter than some other tees here. Still opaque. The blue madras is paired with a light heather gray rayon/spandex knit blend.
You could say this tee has a "boyfriend fit", but don't think it's unisex, it's been designed for a woman's curves.
It's designed to drape loosely over the torso when worn true to size. It's not meant to fit snugly, but the rule of thumb is order down if you want some curves around the bust. If tight is how you roll, this is not the tee for you.
Fabrics used in my signature tees are often small batches of garment industry surplus, they can vary slightly in drape and feel, which can make a version appear to fit slightly larger or smaller—but know that each signature tee is cut from the same pattern. Differences are noted in each listing.
